Planning together: better disaster recovery workshop - South FREE

Be part of creating a plan to help your community recover from future floods, fires and storms. Free tea, coffee and food provided.

How can your local community prepare to look out for each other in future disasters? How can you plan to get the support you need to recover quickly?

The floods, fires, storms and pandemic of recent years have shown us that disasters can have long-lasting impacts. They’ve also shown us that communities will face adversity together, and support their neighbours, friends and strangers through tough times.

Disaster recovery is challenging for everyone. Having a plan in place before disaster strikes helps make recovery quicker and smoother.

The City of Coffs Harbour’s Resilience and Recovery service invites you to help shape the City’s recovery plan so it is tailored to your local community needs.

  • What makes your community unique?
  • What do agencies and all levels of government need to know about your community, so you get the support you need, when you most need it?

You are the expert on your local community. You have the answers.

This workshop is your opportunity to share your knowledge and experiences and to have your voice heard. We look forward to welcoming you.
