Join in the biggest macroinvertebrate monitoring program in Australia and meet the amazing little creatures that call these rivers home!

Twice a year, community members and scientists come together to test for waterbugs at six sites along the Bellinger and Kalang catchments.The aim of the game is to correctly identify and count as many waterbugs as possible from your tray, using the resources and people around you to help.

We are currently calling for people over the age of 8 to register as "Testers”.

This FREE event is an amazing way to dig into some science, meet new people, make new friends and enjoy a meal together.
