Coffs By Nature - Weaving walk

MainImage.jpg
We will walk and talk learning about this special spot whilst collecting bits and pieces to weave into basic mat.

Weaving is one of our oldest cultural practices and we share it with many lands and peoples. In this session we will learn how to respectfully Connect with Gumbaynggirr Country through the practice of weaving. We will walk, talk and collect bits and pieces that catch our eyes. We will then learn how to weave them using a basic loom to create a memento of our walk together.
