Building insect pollinator biodiversity
Two big words, "pollinators" and "biodiversity". Their meaning might seem obvious but maxmising our environments to increase pollinators is not well understood by most and yet is so important. In this workshop Steve McGrane (aka ABC gardening talk-back host, presenter, teacher, writer and consultant), leads us through the principles, his experience and the research that documents how to get more bang for your pollinating buck, aka how to encourage a greater range of pollinators, as this is the secret to maxmising the production of many vegetable and fruit species and helps balance predators and pests. A fascinating hands on journey will deliver you a wealth of knowledge and skills to turn your garden into a pollinators sign-post, Stop here!
